Tax Manager – Accountancy Practice | Stoke-on-Trent – Up to £70,000 DOE Our client, a respected and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Tax Director, this role combines tax compliance with the opportunity to support and shape a growing advisory function. Provide technical support to junior staff and oversee complex tax matters. Deliver tailored tax and business advice to clients, attending meetings as required. Liaise with HMRC and external bodies to resolve client queries. Support the Tax Director with advisory projects and ad hoc tax planning. Lead, mentor, and develop a small team. Contribute to internal meetings and business improvements. What We’re Looking For CTA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in practice. Strong technical knowledge in personal tax, capital allowances, and Corporation Tax. Experience advising on IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and business structures. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach. Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities. Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and in a team.
