The role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive legal team, working closely with operational and commercial colleagues to provide clear, practical legal advice and ensure that our business operates with confidence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and proposals in line with G4S Standards
* Advising the business on commercial and legal risks and helping to manage and mitigate them
* Supporting the business in meeting its contractual obligations
* Preparing and reviewing contracts, summaries and documentation
* Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver effective solutions
What We’re Looking For:
* Either strong paralegal experience or up to 2 years’ PQE as a solicitor (UK or Ireland)
* A solid understanding of contract and commercial law (in England or Scotland)
* Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Some knowledge of construction law / or Private Finance Initiative (PFI) structures and contracts
