The Department

Paying a salary of £100K + per annum

Your Responsibilities
Reporting into our Group CTO, the Director of Data and Analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and leveraging analytics to drive business growth and operational excellence across our portfolio of brands. You will lead a talented team of data professionals to unlock the power of data-driven insights and ensure that data is at the heart of decision-making at every level of the organisation.
Strategic Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Data & Analytics function, aligning it with the overall business objectives of the Forge Holiday Group. Develop and communicate the short & long-term vision & roadmap for data within the group. Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Team Leadership:Build a best-in-class high performing team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers. This includes recruiting top talent, providing mentorship and guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Innovation:Encourage a culture or innovation and experimentation within the team. Explore and stay ahead of emerging trends in data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Identify new opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
Data Governance:Establishing and enforcing data governance standards and policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organisational data assets. This includes complying with relevant regulations and implementing measures to protect sensitive information.
Performance:Establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness & value of data and insight and track their impact on real world business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborating across divisions and other departments to identify data-driven opportunities for improving business processes, optimising resource allocation, and driving revenue growth.

* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the travel & hospitality industry and its technology landscape. Understanding of emerging trends and technologies relevant to this industry.
* Experience of working in private equity backed businesses with a strong business acumen.
