About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and committed Night Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our nursing home team. You will be responsible for leading the night shift, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care, and supporting our residents to live with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the night nursing and care team.
* Administer prescribed medication and complete accurate documentation.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decisions.
* Ensure compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding policies, and home procedures.
* Provide support, reassurance, and clinical expertise to residents overnight.
* Act as the main point of contact for families and staff during the night.
Requirements
* Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
* Minimum 2 years post-registration experience (nursing home experience preferred).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
