Your Role
As a QC Receiving Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of electrical components used in aircraft interior assemblies. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Interpret Engineering Data: Read and understand engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
* Utilize Measuring Tools: Competently use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
* Conduct Inspections: Inspect, test, and document incoming electrical parts for defects.
* Root Cause Analysis: Understand root causes and participate in corrective actions.
* Report Writing: Write inspection and nonconformance reports.
* Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure quality standards are understood and upheld.
* Data Collection: Collect data for statistical analysis.
* Packaging Inspection: Document electrical products for proper packaging before shipment.
* Travel: Occasionally travel to support suppliers or for auditing inspections.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3-5 years of mechanical inspection experience.
* A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* An Associate Degree, Trade/Technical School certification is a plus.
* The ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
Preferred: ASQ Certification is desired.
Working Conditions
This is a fully on-site, temp-to-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, and occasional Saturday shifts. Overtime may be required.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00/hr, depending on experience. Pay will be based on various factors including education, work experience, and certifications.
