Working with a number of the world's leading sports rights holders, in a variety of sports, we deliver bespoke, data-driven solutions that empower our clients to integrate sustainability into their business strategy and deliver on their ESG goals.

Enovation Consulting works with motorsport federations, ASNs, teams, championships, OEMs, circuits and high-tech engineering companies to support and shape their sustainability strategies and net-zero plans.

Creativity, innovation, research and data-driven solutions are the driving forces behind the company's approach to working with its high-profile clients, to empower organisations with the knowledge they need to integrate sustainability into their business strategy, delivering on their short, medium, and long-term Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals.

Job description:

We are hiring 2X ESG Impact Managers. These are two exciting manager opportunities to join a rapidly expanding sustainability and strategic management agency, driving the sustainability movement forward in the motorsport and sports industries.

The Role:

This role will contribute to the development of the management team, enhancing customer service by delivering operational ESG targets and objectives. The primary focus for this role will be supporting the creation and implementation of our motorsport clients' strategies over the short, medium and long term.

You will support a small number of clients, both on-site in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire. Please note,
this is not a hybrid or remote role
, and on-site work will be needed 3-4 days per week. So, proximity and access to a car are essential.

You will have several years of proven experience in building and implementing sustainability strategies in engineering or sports companies, with a focus on supporting the transition to Net Zero and ISO14001.

You need to be an independent, highly organised team player, a fantastic communicator at all levels and a great problem solver. Experience in managing people and communicating effectively with key stakeholders is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Client Delivery

* Lead ESG and sustainability projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Represent Enovation Consulting's values and methodologies in client interactions, fostering trust, transparency and long-term relationships.

Sustainability Strategy & Implementation

* Translate sustainability goals into actionable initiatives that align with client ESG strategies and broader business objectives.
* Set, monitor, and report on sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective Key Results (OKRs), identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Embed sustainable practices into client events, operations, and supply chains.
* Stay ahead of ESG legislation, trends, and best practices to inform client strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, communities, charities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans to raise awareness and foster a culture of sustainability.
* Organise and lead workshops, training sessions, and events to share sustainability knowledge and inspire action, internally and externally.

Performance & Reporting

* Ensure accurate measurement, analysis, and reporting of ESG performance data for internal and external audiences.
* Proven experience in Carbon Footprinting and Life Cycle Assessment.

Team Leadership

* Lead, motivate, and develop direct reports, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Represent clients in internal and external sustainability working groups.

Performance Measures

Your success will be measured by

* Achievement of objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process.
* Timely delivery of agreed business priorities for both clients and Enovation Consulting.
* Quality of teamwork, client relationships, and people management.

What we are looking for:

* Passion for sustainability, with a strong interest in sport, technology and/or motorsport.
* Minimum 5 years' experience designing and delivering ESG strategies and operational changes (5-7 years preferred).
* At least 3 years' experience managing people and client relationships.
* Experience in Life Cycle Assessment, carbon footprinting, and carbon reduction plans.
* Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO20121, CDP, SERC reporting, and relevant environmental certifications.
* Proven track record in shaping strategic ESG plans and business cases.
* Strong advisory, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
* Collaborative team player with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in English.

Desirable:

* Degree or MSc in sustainability, engineering, or a business-related field.
* Second language (Italian preferred).
* Experience with ECOVADIS or similar sustainable supply chain systems.
