We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to support a public sector organisation in Edinburgh on a 6-month contract.
You’ll deliver end-to-end procurement activity, ensuring compliant, value-for-money purchasing in line with public sector regulations.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end procurement processes
* Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and governance
* Advise and support internal stakeholders
* Support the Labs category and have effective communication across all stakeholders.
About you:
* Public sector procurement experience or
* Private sector background (engineering, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environments) with experience purchasing high-value/complex equipment
* Strong understanding of procurement best practice
* Confident stakeholder and supplier manager
