Qualified Social Worker – Adults (Neighbourhood Team)

Rate: £30 per hour

Are you an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a real difference in adult social care? Join a dynamic Neighbourhood Adults Team in a forward-thinking North West local authority where your expertise and values are truly valued.
About the Role
You\'ll be working with adults with care and support needs, carrying out holistic assessments under the Care Act, developing and reviewing care plans, completing Mental Capacity Assessments, participating in Best Interests meetings, and undertaking safeguarding enquiries where necessary.
This is a rewarding and varied role involving:
* Working with individuals and families facing complex social issues
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals
* Delivering person-centred, strengths-based interventions
* Assessing needs and risks while promoting independence
* Making informed, evidence-based decisions
You’ll also attend case conferences, reviews, and represent the Council in court where appropriate.
What You’ll Need
* Qualified Social Worker status and Social Work England registration
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
* A strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation
* Proven ability to carry out assessments, create care plans, and deliver outcome-focused interventions
* Confident communication skills with the ability to engage service users, families, and professionals
* A reflective, proactive, and flexible approach to casework
