Senior Quantity Surveyor – Dalry, Ayrshire (12-Month FTC, On-Site)
Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major project for a leading UK construction and engineering group in Dalry, Ayrshire. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, fully site-based, offering the opportunity to work on a high-value, complex project in a regulated environment.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing cost and contract administration, including payment assessments, cost reporting, change control, and compliance with NEC4 contracts. You’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring commercial performance, and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer contracts and subcontracts, including payments, variations, and forecasting.
* Negotiate terms and manage claims, variations, and contract close-outs.
* Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
* Provide commercial support to project teams and ensure accurate cost reporting.
* Contribute to safety and quality initiatives from a commercial perspective.
