New Business Sales Consultant (Workplace Savings)
Join as a New Business Sales Consultant at Mercer in the Marsh Benefits (MMB) division. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Shrewsbury, or Cardiff, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
We are looking for individuals passionate about sales and contributing to MMB growth. Candidates should have strong knowledge of the pensions industry and an understanding of Flexible Benefits, Healthcare, Group Risk, and the Employee Benefits market.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with internal and external introducers.
* Generate new business opportunities from your introducer network.
* Maintain excellent sales pipeline records using designated recording systems.
* Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
* Provide exceptional customer service and manage prospect relationships.
* Contract with customers in line with the company's standard processes.
* Generate business opportunities for specialists within other MMB areas and the wider MMC group.
* Ensure all business meets required quality standards.
* Invest time and energy in personal development.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar sales role.
* Qualified to a minimum of QCF2 and working toward QCF4.
* Proven track record of new business generation.
