About Heidi
Heidi was born to make it easy for more and more people to discover the power of the mountains. We burst onto the ski holiday market in 2018 (formally known as Ski Zoom) and have seen exponential growth.
The company came from a desire to fix the lack of flexibility in the winter ski market. We help skiers and mountain lovers discover resorts that are hidden gems alongside the classics, and our clever tech is helping them to do it in a way that suits them best. We’re a youthful, challenger brand, with an awesome culture, and we’re shaking up a very traditional ski/mountain holiday industry.
Looking to the future, we have huge ambitions for growth. In 2024 we grew by 64% and expect to grow even more in 2025. Having come 63rd in the Times top 100 fastest growing UK companies, and shortly after securing £5.6 million investment, we are in a prime position to achieve our goals. But key to that is also growing the Heidi team with even more brilliant people than we have now. So we are looking for someone who will be fundamental to the success of our vision and is excited to help us drive that forward.
Our MarketingTeam
Our Marketing team is growing to support the rapid growth of Heidi. We’re split into 3 core areas;lookers, bookers and rebookers. The lookers team are responsible for marking Heidi the most considered ski brand and for growing our earned traffic. The bookers team responsible for maximising the conversion of customers looking for a ski trip. The rebookers team is responsible for providing a brilliant experience for our current customers.
As Head of Performance media you will be taking the lead on customer acquisition. You’ll be working with our brand team to maximise the earned traffic and with the product team to obsess over customer journeys to help Heidi customers get to the mountains.
What you’ll be doing….
* Own our ~£5m performance marketing budget and strategy. You will manage the relationship with our agency, working closely to define our creative, channel and audience strategy. You will be comfortable challenging the agency to ensure that Heid is at the forefront of the latest industry trends and experiments.
* Take a lead role in our trading. Build a succinct and intuitive strategy and supporting KPI framework, so that you can clearly communicate risks and opportunities to the leadership team and wider business.
* Define our channel strategy. You’ll be familiar with the nuances of each of the performance channels across Meta, Google, Affiliates, Video, Display (to name a few) and you’ll be able to build a sustainable and diversified growth approach.
* Optimising and scaling our campaigns. You’ll be analysing performance at a channel, tactic and channel level and know intuitively what you need from the business to unlock further growth.
* Work with the brand and product team to map out the customer journey from initial contact to purchase, identifying experiments to improve conversion.
* Work closely with the sales team to find our most compelling holidays and then helping our customers find them through our performance channels. You’ll find the perfect balance between Heidi spending to reduce price and spending to acquire customers.
What we’re looking for from you……
* You will be an expert in Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics, the Meta business suite and other channel specific tools.
* You must be a brilliant communicator. You can articulate what is (and isn’t) driving growth in the business and facilitate decision making
* You must have a passion for owning and building. You won’t be building from scratch, but you’ll need to help setup the strategy during the quieter summer months, so that we’re in a place to execute during winter peak
* You must be obsessed with data. The work is analytical and being comfortable interpreting and managing complex data analysis tasks is a must.
* You must be able to collaborate. You know that performance marketing effectiveness can only be optimised by working with the brand teams to ensure we have the right traffic and with the product and tech teams to create a brilliant frictionless journey.
* You must embrace a test and learn approach. You must be as comfortable sharing tests that failed as ones that succeeded.

2. Initial call (30 minutes) w/Sam, our CMO
3. Competency Interview (90 minutes): Demonstrate your experience and skills through your portfolio, by answering pre-set questions based on ‘The skills we’re looking for’
4. Culture Add Interview (30-40 minutes): Meet with co-founder and team members you would be working with to learn more about each other.
