They support a well-established OEM producing machinery for the food, environmental, paper and metal industries. Their service offering covers service and support, spare parts, equipment refurbishment and optimisation and inspections. They are now looking for a Field Service Engineer with a mechanical / electrical background to join the team.Key Responsibilities:
* Performing on site maintenance and engineering support on large scale machinery with a mechanical, electrical and combustion focus.
* Optimising customer equipment, conducting process inspections and site audits.
* Commissioning of new and refurbished equipment.
* Carrying out diagnostic, fault-finding work on machinery and finding solutions to rectify issues.
* Attending call-outs and machine break downs.
* Producing safety documentation and compiling detailed survey reports.
Person Specification:
1. An established, qualified or apprenticeship trained engineer with a split bias with both mechanical and electrical knowledge. If you have some experience in combustion engineering in addition, that would a bonus.
