We are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager with a strong Rooms Division background to join the senior leadership team at Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa.
This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in guest-facing operations and has a proven track record in Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Services, while also contributing to the success of Food & Beverage, Spa & Leisure and Conference & Events.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key member of the senior management team, taking ownership of the Rooms Division while supporting overall hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Services teams to deliver seamless arrivals, departures and in-house experiences.
* Oversee Nights operations, ensuring safety, security and guest service standards.
* Drive improvements in guest satisfaction (ReviewPro, NPS, TripAdvisor) through consistent service delivery and proactive problem solving.
* Support Food & Beverage, Spa and Conference teams, acting as the hotel duty leader when required.
* Control departmental costs and labour against budget and payroll targets.
* Deliver training, succession planning and people development across Rooms Division.
* Ensure compliance with brand standards, legal obligations and health & safety requirements.
* Collaborate with the GM and HODs to deliver commercial initiatives that enhance room revenue, upselling and guest experience.
What We're Looking For
* A strong background in Rooms Division management, ideally with cross-exposure to wider hotel operations.
* Experience in an Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager or senior Rooms Division Manager role.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, able to inspire high-performing teams.
* Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets, payroll and performance KPIs.
* A visible, hands-on approach, with a genuine passion for hospitality and service excellence.
