Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant programme within the defence and national security sector, delivering critical cyber resilience outcomes. We’re seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to lead cyber readiness and response activities, including the development and coordination of a Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (WARP) capability.
You’ll be responsible for aligning incident response frameworks with national cyber standards, improving incident preparedness, and coordinating internal and external cyber stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of incident response processes and WARP capability
Act as the central liaison between internal teams, national cyber bodies, and threat-sharing communities
Own and maintain incident response playbooks, escalation paths, and post-incident reviews
Align policies and procedures with frameworks such as NIST 800-61, ISO27035, and NCSC guidance
Coordinate threat communications and ensure organisational readiness across multiple functionsEssential Skills & Experience:
Proven leadership in cyber incident response within secure or regulated environments
Experience with WARP or trusted threat-sharing models
Familiarity with government or defence cyber frameworks (e.g. NIST, NCSC, ISO27035)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
