Title: Senior Contract Services Manager

We are offering a permanent Senior Contract Services Manager role with hybrid working (2-3 days onsite at Matchworks, Speke, Liverpool). Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Group Shared Services reporting to the Head of Transactional Services within GSS. This role will be responsible for the management of the Contract Services team, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver governance and compliance across the S2P process.
What You Will Do
* Establishing vision and direction for the Contract Services team within the wider Transactional Services group.
* Prepare and manage the team budget and reforecasts within group reporting timetable; ensure costs are controlled within budget.
* Identify opportunities and risks within Contract Services and mitigate or exploit accordingly.
* Lead the Contract Services team to deliver performance against KPIs, fostering development, engagement and excellence. Provide mentoring and coaching to build a high-morale team.
* Monitor training needs and conduct Personal Development Reviews and Career Pathways per GSS procedures.
* Coordinate staff holidays and other absences; ensure accurate recording and processing.
* Own all Contract Services tasks performed by the team, delivering a consistent service within SLAs.
* Monitor legal notices and reminders, manage query levels, and maintain legal correspondence within acceptable limits.
* Resolve escalated queries promptly, applying root cause analysis and continuous improvement to enhance future service.
* Maintain close contact with Accounts Payable and master data teams to ensure dependencies are in place.
* Lead monthly service reviews with Business Unit senior leadership to drive engagement and value.
* Proactively analyse Contract Services workload to maximise value.
* Provide support to GSS SLT and champion the purpose and values of GSS.
* Manage stakeholders effectively, building strong relationships across the organisation to deliver first-class service.
* Project Management: Lead project workstreams to deliver process efficiencies or technical developments in line with project charters.
* Provide ad hoc support as required, potentially outside the Contract Services team.
* Partner with Business Units to improve compliance and support.
What You Will Bring
* Team management experience including process improvement.
* Process-driven with a focus on delivering great customer experience.
* Experience managing a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
* Strong experience in a Commercial/Procurement function.
* IT and ERP literacy (SAP experience is an advantage).
* Proficiency with IT tools and relevant accounting software; SAP experience preferred but training will be provided.
* MS Office Proficiency, especially Excel.
* Strong knowledge of the IT landscape to drive future innovations.
