This hands-on Apprenticeship is perfect for someone practical who wants to start a career in engineering. You’ll gain real experience in our workshop and on customer sites while studying at college. Tools, training, and support provided.
The apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers to learn how to inspect, service, and repair industrial cleaning equipment. This is a hands-on role with a mix of workshop-based work and on-site support visits.
Typical tasks include:
* Assisting with diagnostics, maintenance and basic repairs on cleaning machines.
* Preparing and testing machines before delivery or hire.
* Cleaning, inspecting and replacing worn parts.
* Supporting senior engineers during on-site service calls.
* Helping to maintain the workshop space, tools, and spare parts stock.
* Learning how to complete service records and customer job sheets.
The apprentice will spend most of their week at our Bristol workshop (BS31) outside of college time. As skills and confidence grow, they’ll also accompany engineers on customer visits.
