Key Account Manager - Facilities Location: Essex, CM17 Salary: £40,000 basic Commission (OTE £70,000) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Reporting to: Operations Director Have you a background in drainage / plumbing or similar and are looking for a role where you use your client relationship skills to develop strong associations with our Clients business, offering a service that is second to none and building trust and correlation that increases income for the company? This is a fab role with no cold calling just looking after the Clients that are already customers making sure that you retain their business producing quotes on retained business and any other new business that may be required. You will be speaking with Facilities Managers / Builders and retail chains who already subscribe to the services from my Client. This is an office based role with flexibility to be part hybrid when out visiting clients but the rest of the time is in the office based in West Essex. Basic Salary of 40k with unlimited earning potential with salaries of 66 - 80k plus already being reached by other Key Account Managers already working there. As a Key Account Manager, you'll be the face of the company—building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing projects from initial survey through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial customers Conduct site surveys and client meetings Prepare and submit quotations and technical reports Identify new sales opportunities with existing clients Seek out and develop new business leads Communicate client needs across relevant teams internally Manage projects in line with both client expectations and company objectives Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams Participate in a telephone support rota (1 in 6 weeks), providing technical advice to engineers over the phone Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities, drainage, plumbing, construction, or a related industry Solid understanding of surveying and quoting in a commercial environment Full UK driving licence (essential) Comfortable travelling to and from our Ongar office Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines Basic IT literacy is essential; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous Professional appearance, good punctuality, and a strong team ethic Positive, resilient attitude and a sense of humour appreciated within a close-knit team What We Offer: £40,000 basic salary Uncapped commission - OTE £70,000 Company van or car allowance Excellent long-term career prospects within a growing national business Supportive working environment with a close, collaborative team If you're a motivated professional with a technical background and a passion for building client relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
