We are looking for a Logistic Supervisor Distribution Centre to join our Logistics team within our Adhesives business unit based in the Netherlands.
How you make the difference
This position is essential to Bolton Adhesives as it ensures the smooth and efficient flow of operations within our distribution center. You will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics activities, ensuring safety, and optimizing productivity to meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
How your agenda looks like:
* Plan and Coordinate Daily Operations : Lead daily logistics activities in the warehouse, ensuring optimal personnel planning and workflow efficiency.
* Ensure On-Time, In-Full Delivery : Manage processes to ensure timely and complete delivery of products to customers.
* Safety and Compliance Oversight : Monitor and uphold safety, health, environmental, and company policy standards.
* Stakeholder Communication : Maintain strong communication with internal and external parties to align processes.
* Performance Tracking and Reporting : Track and report warehouse activities and staff scheduling.
* Continuous Improvement : Initiate improvement activities, update work instructions, and streamline procedures.
Your team:
You will report directly to the Logistics Manager and work closely with a dedicated team of warehouse staff, taking a lead role in their development and performance management.
What makes you a great fit:
* Education : MBO+ or HBO level in Logistics Management or a related field.
* Experience : Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory role within a logistics environment.
* Technical Skills : Proficiency in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Core Skills : Strong planning and organizing skills with a results-oriented approach; natural leadership ability with strong communication skills.
* Safety Awareness : Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to driving improvements.
