Job Description
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
3. Serve as the first point of contact for general HR queries, providing timely and accurate support to employees and managers.
4. Prepare and issue employee documentation, including contracts, offer letters, contract amendments, and reference requests.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring HR systems and files remain compliant.
6. Support onboarding processes, including right-to-work checks, background screening, system setup, and induction coordination.
7. Assist with offboarding processes, including issuing leaver documentation and updating HR systems.
HR Systems & Data
8. Maintain and update employee data within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
9. Produce regular HR reports, including starters, leavers, absence metrics, and headcount data.
10. Support system enhancements, module rollouts, and continuous process improvements.
Recruitment Support
11. Assist with end-to-end recruitment administration, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
12. Provide support to hiring managers, ensuring recruitment processes are consistent and compliant.
13. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
14. Provide accurate and timely monthly data to payroll.
15. Support the administration of employee benefits, including healthcare and pension schemes.
16. Manage benefit changes and maintain accurate records.
Employee Relations & Compliance
17. Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including note-taking and document preparation.
18. Assist with processes such as absence management, probation reviews, and performance management.
General HR Operations
19. Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries in a professional and efficient manner.
20. Support HR projects, including policy updates, system improvements, and employee engagement initiatives.
21. Process HR invoices and liaise with the finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
Essential
22. Proven experience in an HR administration or people operations role
23. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
24. Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
25. Solid understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle
26. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Desirable
27. Experience using HR systems such as YouManage
28. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
29. Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration
30. Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Qualifications
31. CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards) desirable
32. Relevant equivalent experience will also be considered
What's on Offer
33. A fixed-term contract with a salary range of £25,200 to £30,800 per annum.
34. Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days from home and 3 days in the office in Manchester.
