Who We’re Looking For
* Practical understanding of services related to Mechanical bias
* HNC/HND qualifications in Mechanical discipline (advantageous)
* Experience managing construction operations, including planning, testing, and handover
* Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge
* Strong leadership, management, and collaborative skills
* Decisive with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitor project delivery, identify risks and opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders
* Assess constructability of designs and ensure practical solutions within timelines
* Lead construction delivery in compliance with safety protocols
* Review and approve contractor documentation
* Support and develop teams; participate in project steering and initiatives
* Conduct site surveys and liaise with designers for planning
* Approve technical drawings for accuracy and quality
* Maintain focus on safety and Zero Harm
* Manage handover documentation
* Drive operational targets aligned with the construction plan
* Coordinate with off-site teams and manage subcontractors
* Prepare RAMS and Quality Plans for client review
* Complete EDF-specific training for supervisor and specialist roles
