Thoresby Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our team. Our hotel features 221 bedrooms, original architecture, a Great Hall with deep armchairs, and overlooks scenic parkland.
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000
What Will I Be Doing?
1. Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring stations are organized and prepared for service.
2. Supervising and training junior chefs to promote a positive, collaborative environment.
3. Maintaining food safety standards, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
4. Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
5. Supporting the Head Chef in ensuring high customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback.
