Artis recruitment has partnered with a growing pharmaceutical company in the Chippenham area to support their search for a new Supply Chain Manager.
Reporting to the senior leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager will assume overall responsibility for ensuring effective and efficient supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement across the function, identifying opportunities for optimisation and proactively mitigating risks.
The Supply Chain Manager role
* Lead and develop the order processing team in order to meet company set KPI’s and OTIF levels
* Work with 3pl partners to optimise transport routes
* Lead the procurement team, installing a culture of total value and highest quality materials
* Manage suppliers against an agreed set of KPI’s including OTIF, Quality, Cost
* Seek out and make recommendations for improvements across the supply chain operation
* Research the market, maximise on opportunities and mitigate risk to supply
* Recruit and develop the supply chain team, fostering a high-performance culture
* Manage ERP system, ensure data is clean and up to date
* Overall ownership of team budgets
* Ensure company adheres to latest import export regulations
About your experience
* Proven Track record in a similar supply chain role
* Excellent understanding of the supply chain fundamentals
* Previous experience dealing with Import/Export and 3PL providers
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Effective communication skills both written and verbal
* High proficiency in ERP systems, and intermediate level of Excel
