Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance and support for field‑based clients, and on‑site support for clients IT hardware services.
* Responsible for all tasks to be completed in line with company technical and quality standards and procedures.
* Provide exceptional customer service skills when on‑site, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction is always provided.
* Attend all incidents/requests as directed by the Customer Incident Centre as per your engineering work instruction guidelines.
* Be customer focused, courteous in a professional and sensible manner.
* Ensure assigned incidents are monitored, updated, and progressed in a timely manner.
* Train, coach, and support Junior Field Service Engineers, using your areas of technical expertise and experience.
* Coordinate between clients and vendors, ensuring resolutions to problems are managed within timescales and appropriately.
* Resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
* Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Qualifications
* Will undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
* Strong understanding of IT systems and environments.
* Strong customer service skills, with an analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
* Dell/Other vendor certification to enterprise level or above.
* Previous experience in a data centre and/or smart space technology is advantageous.
* MSCE certification.
* Manufacturer Enterprise server certification.
* SAN Server.
* CompTIA A+.
* Network+/CCNA.

* Good salary package—ranging between £24,600 to £27,700 based on experience.
* 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am and 17:30 pm, with regular out of hours required.
