The Role
The St Lawrence Academy is a thriving Church Academy serving its local community since 2008, offering opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Part of St Lawrence Academies Trust, a new church-based Multi-Academy Trust, it aims to serve young people and communities across primary and secondary phases. The academy is oversubscribed for 11-16-year-olds, with a PAN of 165 per year, and serves a diverse community in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, welcoming students of all backgrounds and faiths.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals for the role of Cover Officer, starting as soon as possible or September 2025. This role involves covering lessons, supporting students in achieving academic targets, developing independent learning strategies, and raising aspirations. Reasonable requests for job sharing or flexible hours will be considered.
