What you will do
* Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for patients with various neurological conditions including Stroke, Acute Brain Injury, and Spinal Rehabilitation.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Manage complex and specialist cases, utilising strong clinical reasoning skills.
* Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately.
* Conduct necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and effective care.
* Utilise your understanding of the relationship between physical, cognitive, psychological, and social dimensions of illness to inform treatment.
* Stay informed on current legislation affecting occupational therapy practices.
Requirements
* HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent or current UK NHS experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience with neurological conditions, confident in treating complex cases in the field of neurological therapy.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer systems.
