The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our Edinburgh office to play a leading role in the development of our civil engineering team and the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious civil engineering design projects in the UK and worldwide.
Working alongsidea team of specialistengineers and technicians, as well as colleaguesacross a range ofvarious engineering disciplines, you will ensurethe delivery of technically excellent projects.
You willtake responsibility forall aspects of design across a numerous and varied portfolio of civil engineering projects, concerned predominantly with infrastructure within thebuilt environment.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and will be supported towards Chartership (CEng).
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng), and working towards achievingchartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent), you should have demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment, and be well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, Flow, MicroDrainage/Infodrainage and Civil 3D.
You should have some knowledge of the local construction market with relevant experience in civil engineering designrelating to the built environment, including the design of infrastructure (for example roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, pavements, public realm, earthworks, utility infrastructure) for both highway and drainage authorities.
