Senior Group Accountant
You will be required on-site daily for the first 6 months. After initial 6-month probationary period, the role is eligible to apply for hybrid working to include a mix of working from home and on-site presence.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced financial accountant to join the Almac Group central finance team as Senior Group Accountant. With global revenues exceeding £1 billion, the group continues to grow, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to fulfil this senior role reporting to the Vice President of Finance.
This pivotal role focuses on groupwide accounting and reporting responsibilities and will involve working closely and collaborating with senior management and Business Unit finance teams across the group.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, possess excellent analytical skills, and have the capability to review and challenge financial information effectively. What we are looking for
· Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up permanent employment in the UK.
· Professional accounting qualification awarded by a recognised body, such as CAI, CPA, ACCA.
· Significant relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in an industry environment.
· Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively, fostering strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
· In-depth experience of financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis with input to strategic decisions.
· Strong technical knowledge, including thorough understanding of financial controls & policies and accounting rules & principles.
· Knowledge of treasury management objectives and functions, including financial planning & analysis and management of financial risks.
