Year 5 Teacher – Slough
Start Date: Autumn Term 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from the start of the Autumn term.
The school is committed to providing a high-quality education and fostering a nurturing learning environment for all pupils. This role will require a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and supporting children’s academic and personal development.
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and challenging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
* Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing feedback to support learning.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Take part in staff meetings, training, and wider school activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching at Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
