Overview
Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same? Or how about a role where you can truly make an impact on someone’s life? Life doesn’t stand still, and neither do we. We are looking for support workers across our services in the Hull area. We are looking for candidates who have experience working with adults in the following specialisms:
* Autism
* Mental health
* Substance abuse
* Moderate complex difficulties
Our service works with some of the most vulnerable people in Hull and you will have the chance to support them in their own home and in the community. Our vision is “A life without limits for the people we support,” reflecting our culture of a knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated workforce.
Responsibilities
We need people who are passionate, supportive and patient, and who love working with people. No prior experience in a care role is necessary; however a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is a must. Everyone is different, but our commitment to offering high standards of care remains the same—enabling clients to live their best lives.
* Supporting with household and domestic tasks, such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and financial transactions (e.g., paying bills).
* Making meals, drinks, and snacks where necessary.
* Encouraging and enabling clients to follow agreed care plans.
* Assisting clients with getting up in the morning, providing personal care (washing/bathing and dressing); helping with undressing and going to bed in the evening; and assisting with medication as required.
* Putting client wellbeing at the heart of the service and keeping managers and key agencies informed of progress.
