We are seeking a caring and compassionate Housekeeper to join the friendly and supportive team on Bay Tree Ward at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. This part-time role (32.18 hours per week) is vital to the smooth running of the ward and provides an essential link between the ward and hospital support services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and greet patients and visitors, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of patient needs.
2. Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness across the ward, addressing emergencies, spills and post-infectious cleaning.
3. Monitor and maintain ward supplies, linen, and specialist equipment, ensuring safe storage and functionality.
4. Liaise with various departments for stock, equipment, or facility issues and assist with transportation of supplies, documentation, and patients when required.
5. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the ward kitchen, including drinks trolleys and dishwashers.
6. Assist patients with menu selection and ensure timely delivery and collection of meal trays.
7. Ensure food and beverages are served at the correct temperature and in line with food hygiene regulations.
8. Provide appropriate support to patients during meal times, including preparing food and specialised cutlery/crockery as needed.
9. Maintain accurate records of refrigerator temperatures and food storage, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
