BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting an Asset Manager to join the Facilities Management team.
As the Asset Manager you will manage FM’s asset management function, ensuring that BAM FM’s asset data, our customer’s assets and associated data, deliver value to core services and business objectives. This includes developing, deploying and continually improving an Asset Management Framework aligned with ISO 55000, PAS 1192-3 and ISO (phone number removed) standards. The role will embed statutory compliance and best practice standards, while driving innovation, sustainability and financial optimisation.
Location: Any UK office. This is a hybrid role, combining time on site, office and working from home

Making Possible
Strategic Asset Management Framework
o Support developing, implementing and maintaining the strategic asset management plan, the strategies and policies and procedures across BAM FM services and supply chain
o Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and ISO standards
Financial & Performance Oversight
o Monitor asset performance against KPIs and financial targets
o Conduct cost benefit analysis, lifecycle costing and investment planning to optimise asset value
Data & Systems
o Support define and maintain data standards for asset registers, lifecycle planning and risk-based maintenance strategies
o Manage CAFM system utilisation and ensure data integrity for accurate asset registers and maintenance regimes
o Drive adoption of digital tools, predictive analytics and IoT for proactive asset management
• Lifecycle & Risk Management:
o Collaborate with Lifecycle Manager to develop lifecycle plans and capital investment programmes
o Implement risk-based maintenance strategies and condition base monitoring
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
o Ensure adherence to ISO 55000, ISO (phone number removed), ISO 41001 (Facilities Management) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety)
o Maintain compliance with Statutory, contractual and sustainability obligations
o Monitor Legislative changes and update the Strategic Asset Management Plan accordingly
o Identify opportunities for process optimisation and technology adoption
o Drive improvement initiatives based on operational feedback, audits and lessons learned
Sustainability & ESG
o Integrate sustainability objectives and ESG principles into asset management decisions
o Report on social value and environmental impact of asset strategies

• Expert knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management Principles and best practices
• Strong financial acumen and ability to link decisions to business outcomes
• Expertise in risk-based maintenance, lifecycle planning and data-driven decision making
• Change management skills with the ability to influence and embed asset management culture cross functionally across teams in FM
• Proficiency in CAFM systems (Concept) and asset data analytics and digital asset management tools
• Commitment to sustainability and ESG principles
