The role involves tracking patients through their cancer pathway, ensuring they meet all of the National Cancer Waiting Times Targets.
The role includes the occasional cover of multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings and the use of video conferencing equipment.
Applicants should have good IT skills and an understanding of medical terminology, which is essential.
The ability to work with concentration and accuracy, and to liaise with staff at all levels, is also required.
The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the Cancer Pathway Coordinators in a team environment.
