We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer based in North Wales. Attendance of site
visits and meetings are essential so you must live in North Wales.
Your duties will include:
* Undertaking scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs
* Supervising and mentoring less experienced engineers
* Preparing fee proposals
* Liaison with clients, subcontractors, local authorities and other consultants
* Managing and coordinating the delivery of projects
* Attend design/site meetings
For this role you will be required to demonstrate the following:
* Excellent communications skills both verbally and written
* Experience working with residential developers
* Knowledge of Section 104, 278 and 38 (etc) adoption procedures
* Design and implement Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Have at least 3 years' experience
* Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors, local authorities
* and other consultants
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Be proactive, anticipate and resolve design challenges at a conceptual stage
* Manage your own workload and efficiency with minimal supervisionThe ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan for land development based on their calculations and any research conducted. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
* Experience with AutoCAD
* Strong organisational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
