Attendance Officer – Bramhall – September Start
A well-regarded secondary school in Bramhall is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join their pastoral team from September. This is a vital role within the school, helping to ensure that students attend regularly and are fully supported in maintaining positive engagement with their education.
As the Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring daily attendance, following up on absences, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with students, families, and external agencies to address attendance concerns. You’ll play a key role in identifying patterns, offering early intervention, and helping to remove barriers to attendance.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build rapport with young people and parents are essential. Experience in a school environment or in a pastoral/support capacity is desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
