Get Paid for 5 Days, Work Just 4

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, giving you 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay.*

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG!

About the Role

At Bluebank School, we are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Teaching Assistant / 1:1 to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils to engage in learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential—both in and beyond the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and develop independence.
2. Support teachers to plan and deliver individual education and behaviour programmes.
3. Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive, nurturing approaches.
4. Record and monitor educational, social, and behavioural progress in line with school systems.
5. Support behaviour management in the classroom using agreed school frameworks.
6. Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and preparation of resources.
7. Accompany pupils on educational visits and, occasionally, assist with transport when required.
8. Supervise pupils throughout the school day, including lunchtimes, promoting positive social interaction.

Who we are looking for

9. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above)
10. Flexible, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
11. Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
12. Resilient, proactive, with high expectations for pupils
13. Basic IT skills and confidence managing paperwork
14. Full driving licence
15. Willingness to undertake training and professional development
16. Experience working with children or young people (educational, childcare, or SEND experience desirable, including autism)
