About the Client:
Wade Macdonald are currently working with a well-established organisation within the Technology sector, this business continues to grow and is now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their collaborative and supportive finance function.
About the Job:
This role plays a key part in the finance team and will be focused on accounts receivable, credit control, and general finance support.
Duties will include:
1. Managing customer accounts and monitoring aged debt
2. Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
3. Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
4. Raising and issuing accurate sales invoices and credit notes
5. Handling invoice queries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
6. Assisting with bank reconciliations and data entry
About the Successful Applicant:
You will have at least one year of experience in a finance or accounts-based role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you’ll have an AAT Qualification and intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VOOKUPS. You will have solid interpersonal skills along with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
