Your Mission:
As a Senior Nuclear Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Reactor Plant. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Reviewing design documentation and assessing plant design changes.
* Evaluating plant build maturity for seamless transitions into subsequent build phases.
* Maintaining the Reactor Plant design intent throughout the build and commissioning process.
* Crafting and presenting detailed reports on Reactor Plant problem resolutions.
* Driving program delivery and technical problem-solving with innovative engineering solutions.
* Acting as the Intelligent Customer for Reactor Plant documentation and its safety case.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Degree in Engineering or Physical Science (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent experience).
* Solid understanding of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations.
* Experience with the Engineering Lifecycle.
* A proactive approach to taking ownership of work streams.
* Proven ability in technical report writing.
Desirable:
* Experience justifying design changes, ideally within a Nuclear plant.
* Background in Civil Engineering & Defence/Naval sectors.
* Strong presentation skills.
