McKinty Associates are pleased to be working on behalf of a client with an immediate need for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting overall financial operations.
This will be a temporary post with the possibility of a perm post for the right candidate.
Main duties will include:
1. Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
3. Prepare invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
4. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
5. Monitor expenses
6. Ensure compliance with financial policies, month-end procedures
7. Maintain confidential data and financial information
8. Perform general administrative duties
Eligibility criteria:
9. Previous relevant experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
10. Experience in a hospitality and/or golf club environment (Desirable)
11. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero)
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
13. Knowledge of financial procedures and record keeping
14. Excellent numerical and analytical skills
15. High attention to detail and accuracy
16. Strong organizational and time-management skills
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
