We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Manager to join a busy automotive operation in Upper Heyford. This is a key role in supporting the site’s production by ensuring parts are sourced, organised, and issued accurately and on time.
The Role:
1. Obtain part numbers and pricing, ensuring all items are booked correctly on internal systems.
2. Order and track parts, advising colleagues of any delays.
3. Receive and check deliveries, verify quantities, and highlight shortages.
4. Ensure safe and accurate storage of parts until required.
5. Issue parts to the correct departments and keep systems updated.
6. Oversee warranty returns, ensuring correct labelling and storage.
7. Carry out regular stock checks and process credits where applicable.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports.
9. Support the development of more efficient processes.
10. Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by management.
The Person:
11. At least 5 years’ experience in a Parts Controller role, with 2 years in a team leader/supervisory capacity.
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
13. Good knowledge of stock control and parts ordering processes.
14. Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other IT systems.
15. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

16. £35,000 per year, potentially rising to £40,000
17. Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
