An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced nurse with excellent communication skills to join the St John's Institute of Dermatology Team.
Our Dermatology skin cancer unit comprises of the Photopheresis, melanoma, lymphoma, and general clinics. You will be expected to rotate between these units. Our Photopheresis department is a nurse-led service. Photopheresis or ECP (Extracorporeal Photopheresis) is a form of apheresis and photodynamic therapy where blood is treated with a photosensitizing agent, exposed to ultraviolet light (UVA), and returned to the patient.
We perform biopsies for various dermatological conditions and provide nurse-led services for skin cancer. You will have opportunities to assist in outpatient surgeries, practice complex wound care, and become an expert in skin cancer prevention. All necessary training will be provided.
