What You’ll Do
* Configure, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across on-premises and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments.
* Manage virtualized and containerized platforms (VMware, Docker).
* Support Windows and Linux servers, ensuring availability and performance.
* Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and adopt infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform).
* Participate in monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
* Act as an escalation point for technical issues, collaborating with developers, operations, and compliance.
* Contribute to ongoing projects modernising systems and processes, with opportunities to lead smaller initiatives as you grow.
What You’ll Need
* A foundation in infrastructure or systems engineering (around 3–5 years’ experience, internships included).
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
* Good communicator, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Terraform or other IaC tools.
* CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar) - Advantageous.
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
* Identity & access technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
* A good grasp of Windows Server, networking fundamentals, and cloud services.
* An interest in learning automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) and expanding into DevOps methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
