We are seeking an Operations Support Manager to play a key role in supporting the smooth and safe running of our events. You will help ensure that events are effectively resourced with staff and volunteers, while also contributing to the overall customer experience and venue management.

Principal Responsibilities
Operational Administration
* Identify requirements for the effective delivery of events and liaise with other staff, project teams, partner organisations, artists and volunteers as required.
* Prepare and manage monthly rotas for Duty Managers and volunteers.
* Contribute to weekly operations meetings.
* Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations as needed.
Team Leadership: Staff and volunteers
* Assist the Head of Operations with the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Duty Managers and volunteers including progress reviews and progression planning.
* Ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction across all Front-of-House and customer facing staff.
* Collaborate with the Customer Services and Ticketing Manager to respond to customer compliments and complaints ensuring feedback is acted upon to drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure artists and productions are warmly welcomed and supported during their visit and that agreed food and drink riders as well as merchandise services are delivered as agreed.
Health and Safety Compliance
* Support the Head of Operations in implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols and operational policies.
* Take on regular Duty Management shifts across a range of events, including weekdays, evenings and weekends on a rota basis, with responsibility for the venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety, and upholding customer service and house policies.
* Act as key holder for the building with responsibility for opening and closing as required.
* Respond to operational issues as they arise, liaising with the Head of Operations and contractors as required.
