Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Person based at University Hospital Crosshouse .
What you will do:
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized person with kitchen store keeping management skills. The ideal candidate would have experience in large scale catering preferably within the NHS. The main kitchen at Ayrshire Central Hospital will provide in excess of 600 patient prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, as well as a meal service to staff and general public. In addition, we also provide a catering service at our Bramble Cafe.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Your duties would include but not be limited to the ordering of stock, ingredient control measures that comply with the current recipes, receipting of goods received notes, processing these to the admin team in a timely manner, good stock rotation practices, general catering duties, maintaining high standards of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for H.A.C.C.P and Environmental Health.

Hours:
24.67 hours per week; the shift pattern is Monday to Friday 0630-1145
A degree of flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work additional hours during periods of leave and at peak times for the Department.
