Join Travis Perkins as a Regional Sales Key Account Manager! Are you ready for a sales role that breaks free from the traditional desk setup? We are offering an exciting opportunity for individuals preferably with a background in merchants or suppliers and strong external sales experience (although this is not essential!).
In this role, you will nurture customer relationships, demonstrate your sales prowess, and expand Travis Perkins' customer base. As an integral part of our sales team, you will support multiple branches in the region, playing a crucial role in the growth of the UK's largest builders' merchants. Let's drive success together!

What will you be doing?
As a Regional Sales Key Account Manager you will play a crucial role in our continued success, supporting your Branch Manager and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
* Reactivating dormant and low spending accounts, and finding new business in an allocated area and coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development.
* Being regularly out on the road meeting customers face to face, building long lasting relationships and developing new sales opportunities.
* Being self driven to maximise and achieve sales and profit targets from your allocated existing customers that are currently dormant and for new business that you seek out.
* Acting as a key part of a wider network team, growing the sales success of the branches on your patch using your expertise to support them in winning in their local area.
* Working with the Head of Sales to identify your development needs and build a plan to make sure you're on top of your game and achieving the best you can.
What experience do you need?
* Bring your passion for sales, customer service, initiative, energy and enthusiasm – we’ll give you the knowledge you need of our industry and products through a brilliant induction with your regional team and the opportunity to gain a foundation degree-level External Sales qualification whilst you work.
* Previous experience within merchanting would be advantageous; if you’re new to our industry, we’ll ensure you get what you need to excel in the role.
* Customers are at the heart of this role so ideally you’ll be used to building strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders, perhaps in a previous field-based role.
* Visiting customers, project sites and branches every day – there’s nothing more important than your safety whilst being out on the road, so you definitely need a full UK driving licence with over a year’s driving experience.
