Project Health & Safety Lead - Data Centre Build
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Package
Location: Buckinghamshire Site‑based (5 days per week)
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all Health & Safety activities on site
* Drive a strong safety culture across all site teams and subcontractors
* Ensure full compliance with UK H&S legislation, company policies, and client requirements
* Develop, implement, and monitor H&S plans, RAMS, and method statements
* Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
* Act as the primary H&S point of contact for the client and senior project team
* Provide advice, guidance, and mentoring to site leadership where required
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Lead / Manager on large construction projects
* Data centre experience highly beneficial, though not essential
* Strong background working for a main contractor
* Relevant H&S qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)
* Confident operating in a live, site‑based environment
* Comfortable being on site 5 days per week
* Proactive, professional, and able to influence at all levels
