About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Science Teacher to join a well-established and highly regarded school in Derby. The Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that engage students and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles. Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have:
* A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) or a related subject.
* A PGCE or equivalent qualification and QTS.
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, particularly KS3 and KS4.
* A deep passion for science and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning, ensuring that all students are fully supported and challenged.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work effectively within a team.
* A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and initiatives within the department.
