Working Hours
This is a flexible role covering 21 hours per week, with at least 2 days in our new purpose-built office in Clifton.
Responsibilities
* Leading and conducting workplace investigations with fairness and diligence.
* Supporting and coaching managers through the investigation process.
* Ensuring investigations are completed to a high, consistent standard and within reasonable timeframes.
* Presenting findings clearly to support decision-making.
* Promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
What we’re looking for
You will have experience of working in an HR role and will be self-sufficient with an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including Trade Unions. Your approach will be people centric, and you will demonstrate a can-do attitude. To be successful in this role you will:
* Be CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or have equivalent HR experience, with a strong understanding of employment law and how it applies to investigations and employee relations
* Have experience conducting or reviewing workplace investigations, providing robust advice on complex cases, and writing clear, concise reports that support sound decision-making
* Have a naturally curious mind with great verbal and written communication skills. As well as analytical with good judgement and excellent attention to detail
* Need to be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload, and willing to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends, and travel to NCHA sites when needed.
