Teaching Assistant – Year 2 SEN Support | Primary School in Fallowfield | September Start Teaching Personnel is proud to be working closely with a welcoming primary school in Fallowfield, currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide both small group and 1:1 support for Year 2 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm) with a September start available. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs Assisting the class teacher in delivering personalised learning activities Helping to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment Collaborating with staff and external professionals to support holistic pupil development What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative, team-focused attitude A Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete one—training can be provided) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
