The Role – Teach With Purpose
You’ll work with secondary-aged pupils (KS3–KS4, sometimes KS5) with a range of additional needs, including:
* Autism (ASC)
* Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Moderate to complex learning difficulties
* Speech, language and communication needs
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering adapted, engaging lessons in your specialist subject
* Supporting pupils to achieve EHCP targets and personal milestones
* Creating structured, inclusive and supportive learning environments
* Differentiating content to suit a wide range of abilities and needs
* Collaborating with support staff, SEN teams, and external professionals
What You’ll Bring
* ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* ✅ Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (any subject specialism)
* ✅ A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiation
* ✅ Experience with or interest in SEN, SEND or alternative provision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
