JOB TITLE: Compliant Operations Senior Manager
SALARY: £76,000pa to £89,500pa plus benefits.
LOCATION: Belfast, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Halifax, Leeds, Manchester, Chester, Hove
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, involving at least two days per week at the listed hubs

As the Senior Manager, you will lead a multi-faceted team of around 600 colleagues across onshore and offshore support functions, delivering shared services that support multiple business units. This role requires exceptional leadership, expertise in managing complex operational processes, and a focus on operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement while maintaining high service standards.
About the teams you’ll be leading
1) Court Production Order Unit: Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to civil and criminal enforcement, responding to legal orders and requests from authorities.
2) Banking Operations Unit: Handles front-line customer service and back-office processing for various banking products, including current accounts, credit cards, and savings.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Planning and coordinating resources to meet performance, service, and compliance standards within risk appetite and budget.
* Supporting change initiatives and managing risks associated with transformation projects.
* Staying informed on regulatory changes and adjusting practices accordingly.
* Promoting a positive culture and continuous improvement.
* Managing relationships with internal clients and external networks, representing Lloyds Banking Group externally when needed.
* Growing capabilities within the team through mentoring and development.
About you
* Extensive experience leading large onshore and offshore operations teams.
* Strong background in continuous improvement, with skills in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
* Proven success in implementing regulatory compliance in operational environments.
* Track record of process streamlining and offshoring operations.
* Knowledge of retail banking products is desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with legal disclosures and procedures under civil or criminal orders is advantageous but not required.
